Secure Auditrail records closing inspections at your workplace. Because your employer uses it to document that checks were really done, it collects some information about you while you work:
These records form a tamper-evident audit trail your employer uses for security assurance and insurance documentation. Attribution and evidence are the product — that's what makes the record credible.
Photos are kept for your organization's configured retention period (24 months by default), then permanently deleted. The written audit trail (who checked what, when) is retained as a business record.
Your venue's managers and your organization's owner can see the full record. Insurance brokers granted access by your organization see aggregate statistics only — never your photos, and raw entries only within generated reports that identify the venue by a neutral label.
Contact your manager or your organization's privacy officer. You have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information under PIPEDA.
